Opera queens like the high notes. Particularly high notes from tenors. Often enough, they like the high notes the way those guys like the long home run ball.
See, I’m a basketball guy as well as being an instrumentalist. I could care less about the high notes, because, like the long ball, they ultimately don’t count for much if they’re part of a losing effort on the whole.
