Update!
Heya everyone. Buddha here. Just updating my LJ so that everyone out there knows that I'm still alive and still on this here internet thingie.
Got back from Texas, and wow was it hot as hell. Hundred friggin degrees, and no rain, for the entire week, but then again this shouldn't surprise since most of Texas is officially a desert anyway. Oh well, the weather was the only bad part of the trip.
Any chance I get to see old friends is awesome. Hung out with Ronni, Arthur, and Caitlin the week up, and went to A-Kon for Caitlin's sixteenth birthday. It really makes an old goat like me feel older when someone you practically watched Grow Up... just turned 16. It's like... Where the hell did that little flappy girl go? Oh, she's seeing boys and planning for college...
I want that time back, damnit ;)
Near the end of the trip, I got to hang out with Shawn and Brittney for a bit. It was a bit rushed, cause all of the hangout plans kept falling through on one side or the other, but at the very end, I got to see Shawn and Britt, as well as Winston Cup Puggsmore, and PJ Mullins, two of the cutest doggies in all the Tex-Ass.
And now for the greatest personal part of the entire trip.
I'm no longer single. I'm with the most lovely and wonderful person in all of the great nation of Texas, and therefore the world. So this is for you, Nikki. All of my love, and Hugs and Kisses from Jersey all the way to Texas!
