Old school style. Open a new entry with a series of lyrics, usually Alkaline Trio. ALK3 comforted me constantly 6 years ago, I can say that's even more true now.
Life updates:
As I stated in my previous, holy cow LJ post, I'm 27 now. I live in California. So Cal. I moved here a year ago next Saurday. (1-07-11 is when I arrived). I left home the Wednesday before (1-05-11). Hardest thing I've ever done naturally. Nick, my best friend, drove with me in my car, with everything I could fit, and my kitties.
Upon moving here I had a job, car, clothes, and a roommate. Now ex roommate. Her friend had a roommate, who I feel in love with. So we got our own place. She's wonderful. Doesn't realize how much joy she brings. She's currently in bed. Worn out. A lot of things going on, and just seemed to catch up with her tonight.
I love it here in CA. It's just like I expected. It's quite nice to look back, and say, I did that. I accomplished a long term goal I set for myself. Later than planned. About 4 or 5 years later, but hey, timing is everything. So far that timing has paid off.
Presently, a few of the most important people in my life are down in SE Louisiana, and the a few more mostly in Omaha, NE.
It's nice, having my space from my life before California. But it's really difficult to be away from it too.
California has literally changed my life in so many ways, but the core person, the person who my friends and family love is the same.
I'm just more vibrant, and happy. Not that what I had in Omaha wasn't good, it just wasn't what I wanted to stay with in life. I needed more. I've got more. So much more. But like many people, I'm not done.
