those of you who have read Shane Claiborne's, "The Irresistible Revolution" are familiar with "The Simple Way" and the community on Potters Street in Philly. That community house as well as at least eight other homes burned down last week from a seven alarm fire that started in an abandoned factory building. i know i've been really blessed and inspired by stories of this community; the hope and faith they've acted on and so forth. it's very sad to hear about what has happened to them. it is very exciting too, hearing the plans they have for restoration, resurrection, and the propitiation of that hope and faith they continue to demonstrate.
