If the postman is to be believed, forty four people voted to stay here. There are some among us captives who believe that those votes swayed the decision to keep us here.
A moment's critical thinking resolves this though. There are hundreds of people in this town. Forty four votes were probably outnumbered by the many who did vote to leave.
The postman never had any intention to respect the results of the ballot in the first place, and neither did the Mayor, Lucy, or O'Grady.
The more we use our minds to think critically about what the town offers us, the sooner we will be home.

Is there any way for us to acquire tatami? I personally don't mind practicing on the grass but if you ever wished to teach other students, it could be a problem.
