Gwynn hadn't moved since Tim or Eve had placed her in the bed. She woke up from the spell Eve had cast, but she just felt so broken and drained. She didn't have the energy to get out of the bed.

Only...

Tim wasn't with her. She forced herself to sit up, taking a long moment to get the room to stop spinning. Then, she carefully got to her feet. When she managed that, she carefully made her way out of the bedroom and into the main room where she found Tim.

She didn't have words for either one of them right now, so instead, she wrapped her arms around him from behind and lay her head against his back.

Wordlessly, Tim leaned into the hug, one hand going to her hair. He swallowed hard, knowing that Gwynn had lost as much as he, if not more. She had been there when the disappearances had happened, and had to deal with them directly. He'd had a filter.

"I love you."

Gwynn held onto him. She didn't know how to make it up to him. He had been with her and hadn't been with his own family when he started losing people. She wanted to be sorry for it, and in a way, she was. She was sorry that he had lost people.

But she couldn't be sorry that he was with her when it happened because the idea of losing him was more than she could handle.

"I love you. So much."

For a while, he just held her, focusing on the fact that at least one of his loved ones, one of the most important in fact, was still here. Then;

"I'm sorry." It was sympathy, condolence, and even apology for not being able to help more, all rolled into one.
