She stood out on the flat roof above her apartment, the wind ruffling her hair and clothes softly and she smiled, leaning her hands on the edge of the building she closed her eyes and lifted her face towards the sun.
It wasn't until she felt the nipping at her fingers that she opened her eyes and looked down at the snowy white, 'Hedgwig.' Reaching up she petted him softly and used her magic to make her covering appear on her arm and held it out for him to perch upon. 'We should get you feb and watered.'
Carrying the Owl back to her room she settled him down and untied the message from it's foot. Setting it on the side she got food and water next knowing he would continue to nip at her until she had done so. A few minutes later she sat down with the note.
Hermione,
It is good to hear you are still safe and well and offer our thanks to this fellow Snake with regards to your safety and we believe that it would be better if you stayed where you are for the time being. The war is worsening and more attempts have been made on Harry's life and the lives of the Order.
If you believe that this Snake fellow is a good friend and will help you in your endeavor as well as your safety, then we advice that you stick close to him.
The note you sent to Ron and Harry will go to them when we hear from them next, do not worry about their safety, Molly's clock still tells us they are well.

She re-read the letter and chewed her lip. So they wanted her to stay here and she was glad of it, although part of her told her if she went back to England he could come with her. She felt those butterflies in her stomach once more as she thought of him and their wonderful night together.
'Well, I suppose I should go and find myself something to occupy my time while I investigate around here still.' She left the cage open for Hedgwig with the cover over it, but leaving the door free, and headed out of her apartment and down the stairs. She pause for a moment on the floor to Snakes apartment and then shook her head. She would speak with him later, right now she wanted to just go outside and enjoy the sunshine...to go for a walk.
