Her footsteps were silent as she walked across the roof and towards him, a smile played on her lips as she saw him laying there, sunning himself. Hermione moved closer and bent down slightly and grabbed his arm, giving him a playful shove, 'Saved your life,' she pulled him back a little and laughed.

Snake felt the hands touch him and his eye shot open with a growl as he grabbed her intent on throwing her over the side. It was reflexes, instinct. It wasn't til he heard the voice and she was halfway over the side that he caught himself. Struggling he almost fell still holding on to her and pulling her back up. Snake scowled at her.

She let out a scream as he tossed her and she gripped onto his hand tightly, fear reflected in her eyes and she felt pain shoot into her side.

She was shaking as she sat herself down, 'Christ.'

She nodded slowly, 'I will be fine, just got the wind scared out of me a little.' She laughed softly, 'and the doctor told me not to do anything that would cause me to strain myself.'

Shaking her head she frowned, 'I forgot to bring up Aggie's gift,' holding out her hand she said something and the gift shot out of the window and she caught it easily on the roof. MAgic really makesyou lazy sometimes.'

snake laughed. I think that doctor's order should have small print that says "Beware of Snake Plissken"

She laughed and shook her head, 'It's a little easier than me having to walk up and down stairs all the time.' She settled her hands on her stomach and looked up at Snake, 'I'm worried about telling Rayanne,' she looked down and frowned, 'Do you think she will be upset about me being pregnant?'

Snake frowned a bit. I think she will be alright. i didn't knock you up so she won't be too pissy. Snake sighed nd touched Hermoine's belly before laying down. I don't know what I am going to do if this happens to Xena.

She laughed softly, 'probably get very worried, very happy and very protective. Not be able to stop smiling or telling anyone you call friend the good news.'

She glanced towards the door, 'did you tell Swan about this party?'

I didn't mean me.. I meant Rayanne. She'd take it hard.

Snake nodded and pointed out toward the beach. He's down there scuffling again over someshit or another. He'll be up when he's done being a playground bully.

'Oh,' Hermione shifted a little and nodded slowly, 'I think it would be very hard on her, Apollyon too.' Because she guessed Rayanne would see him less because she wouldn't want Snake to miss anything, if anything happened to Xena when she was with Apollyon, Hermione knew Rayanne wouldn't be able to live with that. 'Maybe you should talk to her about it, before it happens.'

Hermione frowned, 'He's fighting just before Aggie's party.' She shook her head, 'She will be pleased when he turns up here bloodied and brusied.'

Truthfully, I don't think he would notice anything. Snake sighed.Snake shrugged. He's a street boy, she knows that.Didn't think anyone got in as many fights as me.

'He would, when Rayanne stopped seeing him.' Hermione looked out to the ocean, 'I haven't known you as long and I know how much you want a family of your own.'

Hermione sighed softly, 'Yes, but would you go out and have a fight with someone on Xena's birthday? It's Aggie's 1st birthday, he should be with her. This is special for her.'

It just makes me kill more people. He gets angry but he won't go if she says no. He can't.

Snake looked out at teh ocean. Sometimes it can't be helped. That is something no one realizes. There are rules down there... Snake motioned to the streets. that have to be followed or things get much worse then a fight here and there.

I don't think he believes that. To him this is her twentieth birthday because he doesn't understand. That rescue was the firt time he'd seen anything like that. You could see it in his eyes.
