Sophie Neveu is sitting in the coffee shop across the street from the medical clinic, fingers drumming on the tabletop as she works on something or another to busy her time - probably a book of puzzles.

Do bother her, really. She's clearly bored out of her wits.

Wilson was heading past the cafe, hands burrowed deeply into his pockets. He was heading nowhere in particular. Just walking. Needed to get away from the clinic. And he happened to glance to his left and saw Sophie in the coffee shop.

He halted in his tracks. Stared at her a moment.

He then headed into the cafe, waving at her.

Sophie smiled faintly as he stared, but waved in return as he moved into the cafe.

"Do you want a coffee?" Friendly, half-chipper.

"Uh..." He stopped at her table and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Sure."

She'd probably notice that he seemed distracted, like something was bothering him.

He pulled the chair out and sat down, giving her a tight smile. "How you been?"

She did.

So when he sat down, her hand slid atop his.

"All right, I suppose. Are you all right, James? You seem ..." A slight squeeze of his hand.

Upset.
