Filling a day off (open)

She looked down at the information he had given her once more, how many times had she dialed that number and nothing? Running her fingers through her hair she sighed softly before screwing up the paper and tossing it in the bin. If he didn't want to see her again he could have just said that, not given her false details, that was just...

She pulled her bag over her shoulder and left the apartment, no Tru, don't dwell on it. She knew she could never really get involved with someone anyway....damn it. She'd trusted him and told him the truth about herself too. Foolish.

Running down and out of her apartment she headed off and down the streets, she needed to just get out and do something, it was her night off of work so maybe she would hit a bar or find a way to meet someone.

At least then maybe she would stop having to spend all her time with her brother or at the morgue. She might actually get herself a life.

She headed down the street and towards the nearest bar. Maybe she could feel like a normal person for just a few hours.

tru, bar
