Meeting Two
Hello! Is anybody out there?
Hopefully once the ball gets rolling with GSA, this site will be more helpfull. I will try to update the community after each weekly meeting for those of you who were unable to make it, and I will also post announcements for upcoming events that our club is involved with. I'm also hoping that this will be a good way for our club to communicate with one another outside of room 510.
Anyway, we had our second meeting today. Our agenda included looking at new articals that our loverly president, Kit, brought in for us on LGBT student rights and GSA rights. We also started making a buddy system, which is actually quite nifty. It's basically two people who can call/e-mail each other if they're having problems and need confidencial support. We aren't quite done making buddies, but we will take care of that next Monday.
In the meantime, Kit, Julia, and I will be meeting and taking care of the constitution so that we can once again be an official club. If the constitution isn't renewed anually, we aren't considered an organization. No worries though, it will happen.
