Their curriculum is not based around books and lectures as in more traditional med schools, but more about clinical experiences. An' about upenn, people often get really inspired when they see these presenations since that's obviously their intention. Either way though, (at least based on my recent internship apps, etc) it's sooo much easier to achieve things when it's clear you want them- whether intentionally or not, it shows through in your personal statements, application, etc. so just use that excitement :)

I want my college years back!!! :) I didn't realize that working 8-9 hours every day would be so tough. In college you can always sleep in and not go to class or whatever. That's it, I have to go to school again.

I always use my friend's words, Anya, when you start talking about smoking, and I won't hesitate to use them again: "When you kiss a person that smokes, it feels like you are licking an ash-tray". Don't make me mad :)

But seriously though, i'm happy for you to have that fire and want to go after something. So what, even if the presentations are usually too-glossy for their own good, it's still an awesome feeling to have a goal and look forward to achieving it. I hope you get in :)
