YAY! Last work day before a 3-day weekend. One big bid done, another seems to finally be coming together nicely, one more to go and it will be up in the air for only about another week. Of course, there are soon more of them to do but for now, there is light at the end of the tunnel. (Ta Dah, Cliche Mom! Yeah, Caren, he got to me too. ;^)) I even got the bulk of all the year-end encumbrances done. I have pushed myself so hard this week. I began to think I was becoming overwhelmed but hopefully I have a good grip on everything once again. I still have a handful of high dollar encumbrances that I will need the departments to give me more info on before I can process them but the pile is definitely shrinking!

I've got to get a new watch band or bracelet this weekend. My other watch band broke and for now I've affixed my watch to a very pretty, wide expansion bracelet I had and I really like that effect. I may very well look for another wide bracelet for it that will go with everything. To make it not look so much like it is just attached on top, I put little beads along the watch band connectors on each side of the watch face that match the bracelet. By jove, I think I'm onto greatness here!

I will try to get outside this 3-day weekend and see if my mower will crank, maybe change the oil in it and try to mow a bit. My yard is getting pretty ratty looking and it should look nice for Easter, right? I just hope the darned mower will start! I put a new battery in it last year toward the end of the year and I put Sta-Bil in the gas so cross your fingers! I love summertime enough I don't mind mowing but I hate to mow if I've got something else I'd rather do. I also love the way my yard looks when it is freshly mowed.

I have to figure out that new bleach and bleach my hair too. If that doesn't work out all that well, I may just let it go back to it's natural color which is virtually black with an awful lot of gray now, probably more gray than black. We'll see.

I also have to get a couple of cans of stuff for my car AC and get my friend at work to put it in my car. That little sucker is feeling like riding around in a 'Easy Bake Oven' again! He would do it for nothing but I always pay him as much as $50 to it. I want him to want to do it, not look for excuses not to and it's well worth it to me. A mechanic would charge me upwards of $300 to do it and want to change out everything that could possibly be leaking costing me a fortune there too.

As you can see, there is plenty to do to fill the 3 days, maybe even some attention to my house, even airing it out in the new warmer temps, IF I feel like doing it, and IF something better doesn't come along, hee. I have to get as much done as possible before my back starts protesting, pacing myself somewhat and stopping when the back gets too bad.
