Pooh Quiz

Nov 18, 2003 17:47

I just took the Pooh Quiz by Quizella. I seem to be Piglet--a loyal friend. Well, since my birth year is that of the Pig or Boar, I suppose it makes sense--still a big surprise.

We're gearing up for the two big events of the year--Ardyn is coming to Sacramento next week, (Yay!) and Graham is coming in the middle of December (Another Yay!) Maybe we'll get the house cleaned first, but don't count on it. Too many things to make before they get here, since it would be a little hard to make their gifts after they're here.

The results of my sister's biopsy (some results not in yet) are that the tumors are benign. The doctor excised them anyway, and took additional tissue for more tests, but didn't seen to think there was any problem. Yay!! Even as old as we are, being a big sister is still a tough job; maybe more so with no parents still on this plane to get advice from.

Leslie's leg continues to improve--we're being very cautious and exercising at least every other day at the gym pool. We think we've found a good one again. You have to kiss a lot of frogs to get a prince, you know!

Glad to see Luis on LJ--you never know when you need a good drummer!

Heather's third book(?) is progressing--whenever she gets off LJ! The writing she does here seems to help with the fiction writing.

Beckett and her three boys seem to be doing well, I haven't heard anything different the last couple of days. I have to add an "I told you so" because I did tell Beckett and Paul that their kids were exceptionally intelligent, handsome and totally charming--and they're not even three yet!!

The first consignment of sacs and fridge pockets went to the store last week, the display card will go in tomorrow. I do hope they sell, Leslie and I have put in a lot of time and effort to make them attractive and desirable.

I finished the first hospital kit we designed and it's due to be mailed tomorrow to my sister. The kit has: two hospital gowns (they never fit anybody and leave the backside exposed and cold!); a duffel bag, a sac, a cosmetic sac (or ditty bag), a jewelry envelope that can be put in the hospital safe, a glasses case, and a paperback book cover. All are made in a bright fabric, with the containers all lined and everything completely machine washable and dryable. My sister likes bright colors so she should like this kit. She and Beckett have served as our marketing previewers, answering our questions without seeing the finished products yet. One set down, only ? more to go.

I should stop now, Simon Cat is fussing about something, probably Morpheous or Mia are not paying attention to him, or he wants somebody to let him know where we are.

Off to pay homage to the senior cat. Love and kisses to all the sweet kids out there.
