After much deliberation, I've decided to try the
Nuzlocke Challenge. I've been really hesitant to do this, as I've heard that as well as being challenging/frustrating, it can actually be somewhat emotionally traumatizing, what with having to give up your hard-trained if they faint. But I've tired of the No Pokeball Challenge, and I'm ready to face a new challenge. So I restarted my LeafGreen game and will be following the two main rules of the Nuzlocke Challenge. I've decided to go easy on myself, so for my first attempt at this I will allow myself to save often and restart from the previous save spot if I feel necessary. I started with Charmander, and have so far delivered Prof. Oak's parcel and have gotten the Pokeballs. Now I'm making my way to Pewter City and will soon have the opportunity to start catching Pokemon. I'm nervous and excited and can't wait to see what happens.
