Why say 'moving vehicles' if you can say 'vehicular movement'?
I saw this ridiculous sign at Motherwell Station on 5th July, 2015. What the hell is wrong with 'Beware of moving vehicles', or even, 'Beware of road vehicles'? Do they think such ludicrously pompous language gives the sign greater authority, or was it just written by an idiot? I've a good mind to report it to the Campaign for Plain English!
