Pomona students recently received an e-mail notifying them that in an upcoming US News & World Report, Pomona is going to be in the top 5 of most dangerous schools, or most crime ridden, or something like that. Why? The 11 cases of grand theft auto on campus last year.
Yes, apparently, joyriding in a golf cart = grand theft auto. Too many people jumping in golf carts and riding around them --> Pomona is one of the most crime-ridden campuses in the nation! There is now a facebook group: "Chirp, bitch, I go to Pomona: The #1 Most Dangerous School in America." Basically, amazing.
