Omgz0rs! I just got an offer for a summer intern position with
Carnegie Geophysical Laboratory in D.C. I just got a call from the woman who I would work with if I accepted it. She's doing work on seismology, studying the interior of the Earth using seismic velocities and seismic anisotropy. Kind of awesome.
I'm also kind of amazed. People are accepting me! Summer stuff is working out!
Crap! Now I have to make choices! Staying local and doing numerical modeling/magma reservoir work? Going to Washington D.C. and studying seismology?
Squee/wah!
