but i would argue the lovely ms. leslie feist is wrong. maybe the saddest part is getting over getting over someone, that aspect of grieving right before the process ends and you are just you and they are just them, separately. or of comparable sadness. same creature, different breed. you want to still feel something, and eventually you can't.
