I'm having a lovely birthday... we went to the little market half a block away and I picked out a wonderfully strange bouquet... deep red alstrameria and red, yellow and green parrot tulips and these very cool blue/green thistles... I'll have ot post a picture of the resulting bouquet :-D

I love you too... I've thought of you *LOTS* - wish I could bring you back and show you everything!!

Hi, I'm glad you are having a lovely birthday. The flowers sound marvelous. I tried for over an hour last night to post a picture of Skagit Valley tulips with your birthday greeting, and couldn't make it work. I missed the whole card thing and am very sorry, it sort of slipped by me that I had to make some kind of arrangement about your birthday coming up. We stopped at Jim's yesterday and got the shirts. They are wonderful, and mine could not be more perfect with the difficult blue outfit. It's gorgeous. Your Dad really likes his too. Thanks so much... Have a wonderful evening. Love to all

Oopsie...there's that silly time difference....well, I'm "late" as well in my well wishes. Late, but nonetheless, heart-felt!

We just had a hailstorm, large for here, enough to turn the drive white and gather on the tree branches. It reminded me that I had meant to tell you earlier that your birthday dawned with 1 to 2 inches of snow in your own yard. I think it melted off by noon, but how odd.

I also meant to tell you that we had a good time with Alice, her project was very good. She said she really loves the vidio audio work and hopes to get a job in the Seattle area and stay for several more years. Good... So she is duly graduated. I passed on your congratulations as you asked, she was sorry you couldn't be there too, and hopes to get a chance to show you her project someday. There is a nice picture I meant to post, but haven't been able to do that. Sorry... Happy Birthday one more time, I love you Mom
