Way over due posting-ness
Well seeing as I'm almost at the end of another awesome two weeks in Canada with tvor a.k.a. my fiancée, I reckon I should actually post something in here. Yes I know, I don't post as often as I used to, but I really need stuff to write about but the last two weeks have provided more than enough high notes to mention so I'll go through a few albeit briefly.
What a marvelous start, an evening with sammantha and her beau, a few bottles of Keith's beer (which eventually made me nod off) and a rather fine BBQ. Next day round to visit nancy_j and then off to see Batman the Dark Knight on the iMax screen. A movie that is already bigger than it's breeches but seeing it on a screen like that was rather a grand experience. And yes Heath Ledger really is excellent in the role of the Joker.
Off on the road trip around the Cabot trail where I had great fun driving the hire car around many windy bendy mountain roads. Read tvor's journal for more details as I can't remember all the place names we went through. Great trip though.
Back in Halifax again for mucho eating, visiting and shopping for cheap bargain bin horror DVD's of which I successfully amassed and look forward to viewing them once I get back to Blighty.
One down-note to the trip, today we went to see a new animated movie called "Igor" which we thought would be good fun, but alas it just didn't do it for me. It sure ain't Finding Nemo.
That'll do for now, my Chicken and Maple Curry is on the table.
