Monday, Monday, can't trust that day...
So home is continuing to seep into my veins, running through my bloodstream, getting us aquainted once again. I came home late last night from town, maybe 1:45 AM. Got out of my car and began to walk down towards the house; night was warm, the epitome of a summer evening, and the valley was perfectly clear. The reason I'm mentioning all this is because it hit me, with the crickets and the slight breeze and the twinkling stars, in what a goddamn beautiful place I live. From that nighttime perspective, my neighborhood looked just like the kind of place I've always imagined myself living. Maybe it's because I've been outside of it for a while, but as of now home makes me happy just for it's being there, and being what it is. Okay, enough of that. HOPEFULLY, my job app will go through, and I'll be working come early July. Which would mean, more money for me. Well, to be more specific, simply MONEY for me, as I don't exactly have any at all to my name currently. So here's hoping for that, and also for the ability to not just sit around my house and do nothing all day. That's great, for a few days. But I don't want to feel like I was unproductive this summer. I've gotta see people, do small little trips, etc, to really feel good about this break. Anyone who can help me out there, feel free to let me know. Okay, off to try and fix my car's water leak.
