And the winner is...
I'm not usually one for awards ceremonies; after all your dustman doesn't get an award for especially brilliant spreading of refuse over the street, does he? But I must admit, after the unnecessarily unpleasant mauling Ashes to Ashes got from certain critical parties, I was more than a little pleased that they scooped the Best New Drama award at the TV Quick/TV Choice awards on Monday night. Okay, actually I went "WOOT" and punched the air. Judging by the various pics I've seen, including this one, the cast and producers were a bit pleased too. And why not?
