Upstairs Downstairs
Blowing the dust off this LJ because, somewhat to my consternation, I seem to be getting caught up in the Beeb's updating of that 70s classic, Upstairs Downstairs. A slowly building, understated "Well, it might be worth a watch" has now become "Ooo, ooo! Trailer!" followed by a compulsion to make some icons. So here they are. Mainly Keeley but a coupla others crept in too.
The only grain of worry I have is Heidi Thomas' (the writer) high death count in Cranford. We can only hope the improvements in healthcare by 1936 will spare us the bodies piling up...
