[The voice feed is turned on, and there's faint rustling after a few moments of silence.]
Oh, I've never been very good with those... Is that like a modified cellphone? If so... Hm?
...!
[Some more fumbling before the voice grows clear.]
Hello, and good afternoon. My name is [...] Irisviel, and I have just arrived to New Bark Town today. If I

OH.
Shirou did say timelines and stuff and
oh god my waifu is alive.]

Iri....
[What a wordy reintroduction.]

Well it wasn't super pleasant but she could understand. Still, she'll be fumbling with the Pokégear now HOW DO I VIDEO... There's a few clicks before it stops; bah. Addressing him now, gonna figure out how this thing works later. That, and she can probably ask him.]

Kiri, you're here too. Would Maiya be here, as well?
Reply
She isn't.
...we have a few things to talk about. First, if you're in New Bark Town, we can meet each other in a day and a half.

Until then Iri will be peering curiously at the black ferret-like Pokémon. She'll ask about it later; she knows your "we gotta talk" face and tone well enough.]
I see, it would be easier to explain things in person. Should I leave town to come and meet you, or would it be best if I remain there for now?

[He pauses for a second...]
...and you should know that there are Servants present but none are a threat at the moment.

[... Sounding more serious now.]
Mm. Have they ceased to be spirits?

[He has to stop to scratch his head. Servants and time/space issues. There's a lot to say before someone else can confuse her.]
Trust what I have to say. The servants here are human but are from the Fifth Grail War. There is a Lancer and a Rider. Do not trust Rider. She may have a nice demeanor but her past says a different story. The one called Lancer will not betray his word nor will he lie so he is not a threat.
[He takes a deep breath, wondering if the next bit should be explained. He seems stumped on it but finally decides to just give a minimal description.]
You may also meet a boy named Shirou. You can trust him as much as you trust me.

The fifth war.
What.
The silence is longer on her end.]
...Understood. You'll have much to tell me once we meet in person. [Just saiyan. Because it sounds awfully suspicious. :|a]
--! As much as...? [THAT, however, catches her off-guard. ...Dude, you didn't even say that about Maiya. She'll never question what you tell her, of course, but...] Alright. Can you tell me more about that boy? What is he like? [For Kiri to tell her something like that, how can she NOT be curious?]
Reply
[hurr it is suspicious but everything about him is suspicious.]
The boy...he has reddish hair and brown eyes. He's almost an adult now but he's much more of a man than his father will ever be. If you talk to him, he'll be polite and do what he can for you. To be honest, I'm worried he may mistake you for someone else but that's left to be seen. As far as I know, he travels with Tokiomi's successor but she seems to be a much different person than her father.
[aaaaaand that's about as vague as he can get. If Iri presses, he might end up being screwed but he leaves it as it is.]

Your waifu in the flesh. Also in Lady gear! Which... Looks pretty similar to her coat from home. Is this nostalgic... Smiling down softly at the feed.
...Now that she looks closer, you've gained a few years too, haven't you? THE QUESTIONS PILE... But think happy thoughts. HAPPY THOUGHTS.]
Ah, that's it. Thank you.
[That set aside.]

Yeah. She might have been sheltered, but it really didn't take much to notice just how JARRING this sudden amount of trust from you out of nowhere to ANYONE is. Her gaze is no longer that of the soft and loving wife and mother, but of the cool and analytic diamond queen. Of course, not as firm as what Tokiomi has seen, but don't think that you can get out of this one easily, Kiri.
Despite her eyes, however, she remains patient. Right now, there's a bigger name of concern here.]
...Tokiomi Tohsaka's successor. That's... his daughter? You would deem her trustworthy, Kiri? [Well Tokiomi DID just agree on sending Kirei out of Japan last they spoke before ( ... )
Reply
Rin Tohsaka, yes. But I do not think she is trustworthy. She is still a magi, no matter who she travels with.
Reply
Yet she is traveling with a boy who has your- our, utmost trust?
Reply
As much as I believe in Shirou, I don't believe in trust by association.
