Fire Update
To everyone who was concerned about the fire in Santa Barbara, my family's house is ok, though we all ran around frantically packing the cars last night, as there was a very real possibility that we might have needed to leave with a ten minute warning. We did not have to evacuate, as the fire ended up going the opposite direction from our house, it could have been bad though, had the winds changed directions and not stopped as they were going at 40+ miles per hour at one point. We havent' totally unpacked the cars yet, just to be safe, but (knock on wood) the worst seems to be over though the fire is not out yet. The damage to other parts of the city is really bad as I think at least 70-100 homes have burned. No one has died, though there were some bad injuries. Sb can really use everones good thoughts and prayers right now. I am really grateful that my house and my grandmother' house are ok. I think Andrew's parents should be ok too.
