Finally gotten around to watching the anime series "Samurai Champloo" whilst I wait for Lord of the Rings Online to download and install. Don't know why I waited so long - its great.
The young girl in the series is searching for a "Samurai who smells of Sunflowers". It occurs to me that Japanese soldiers in WWII often had a small packet of sunflower seeds in their pocket as emergency rations. I wonder if there's a connection....? Time will tell. I'm only up to episode five.
