"Kayla learned of the Chronicles of the Loremaster, Elor Once Dark, and in particular the Golem Yenor Staideyes in the far land of Vog Mur. Realising that controlling the Golem may provide the ability to rid her beloved homelands of the Demon, she mapped a plan to travel to the continent of Jaiman, to cross the Grey Mountains and enter the land of Tanara. From there she believed it would be possible to reach the islands of Vog Mur."
Hmmm... I remember wanting to get to Vog Mur one day but I remember nothing of this golem. Finding Elor was more of a quest of personal curiousity. His name was legendary.
"Along the way, with all the expected adventures one could have, Armageddon mad a point of using whatever spare coin he could find to purchase inn's which he renamed "The Hobbit's Armpit", ensured that a prominently sized portrait of himself was placed in each one and employed the former owners as managers.... Armageddon mad a point of using whatever spare coin he could find to purchase inn's which he renamed "The Hobbit's Armpit", ensured that a prominently sized portrait of himself was placed in each one and employed the former owners as managers. There was the unfortunate problem of losing his warhorses (named "Daisy", "Buttercup" and even "Cthulhu") there was also a few incidents where he drugged some other player-characters for practical jokes and a tendency to don a cloak of invisibility and loot locations before the lesser (and poorer) PCs could search said locations. When I noticed that he'd changed the profession on character sheet to "Part-time Paladin of Arianna and the Way of the Hippopotamus" I suggested that perhaps a change of profession was in order."
The "Hobbit's Armpit" chain was a joint project between Kayla and Armageddon - with both of our portraits above the bar. This chain of inns *still* exists in my current Fantasy Hero campaigns - which are set about 100 years after yours. Of course, in my history, Kayla didn't die until much, much later. :)
The only characters still around (as NPC's) from the original campaign are J'Thar the Mage and Glaurung the nightblade.
Oh! And Kayla was just as guilty of going invisible and sneaking off - she used to tag team with Armageddon whenever we went dungeon bashing because, through natural attrition, he was the only one of the original team members left that she could trust.
Kind of you not to mention *why* Armageddon was swimming underwater to cross that lake too. :) :) :)

Dave? I still roleplay with him, Heath Abel and Chris Hall nearly every week. He's living in a bachelor pad near Murdoch and he's an occasional student of Literature there.
Now, as to this history:
