On the act of creation
I like to think of myself of as a fairly creative person.
Lately, however, it seems like I just can't come up with an original idea.
When I slice a new idea open I realize that it's just a derivative of something else I've seen recently. My brain has gone Hollywood.
Do I continue to strive for something truly interesting or do I just immerse myself in the obscure so that I'm derivative of something most people aren't familiar with?
