Chronicle Nineteen- Spain

I´m in Spain, and it took me nine hours to get here from Miami. We managed to get first class for the price of second class becaue a pilot who had lived with my dad in Spain for three years was able to pull some strings. We got the star treatment, or at least the first class treatment. It´s about a seven hour difference from McAllen, which is alot. I met my cousin Raphael and my uncle Pio and Aunt Marissa. They were cool, but speak only spanish and that means I´ll be practicing a lot of spanish here. It´s funny because I might go see Batman Begins, dubbed in spanish, with my cousin. They´ve got mangas here, but they´re all in spnish. It was cool to see all the comics and books I have in a different language, at least I could still read them. I´m thinking about buying my cousin the TRIGUN series, figure that´s a good manga to start on. Its adventure and focuses more on technology than magic.
I went on three tours this past tuesday. The first was of this old Palace that belonged to the different Spanish Kings. It was awesome, I really enjoyed the architecture, decor and complexity of the structure. I learned a lot about Spains history that I didn´t know, I figure I´ll buy a book on the country´s history later. The second tour was of an art museum. We looked at paintings from the guys that paitned the cielings of the Palace we´d just seen. Velasquez and Goya were the two painters we spent most of our time on. These guys were really good. I mean, the pictures looked almsot life like, I was stunned at the realism and vivid colors that were used. However, painting the Palace´s ceilings must of been one hell of a task, but I can see why they were chosen. I´ve got pictures and postcards to show you guys. The third part of the tour was a tour of the city of Madrid. It was awesome, I really enjoyed all the 17th,18th and 19th century buildings still in use and well preserved. I wouldn´t mind living in a city like this, however, I need to find a reliable Anime and Manga source before making any desicions. Plus, I still need to visit Japan. Well, I´ll update as soon as I get the chance, hope you guys are cool and all. I´ll see you on the 29th. Bye for now.
