(no subject)
Well, it's been 52 days since I smoked a cigarette. You should be proud of me!! My best friend sent me a trophy in the mail... yes, a trophy. It says my name and #1 Quitter. It's the coolest thing ever.
Life is good - I'm on spring break this week and the weather is supposed to be gorgeous - sunny and 85 or so.
School is good - - hectic and crazy, but good. I got a kid suspended last week for elbowing me in the ribs. He's going to get killed in a gang fight within the next 10 years - - mark my words.
My class is watching how silkworms grow. I got about 100 eggs a few weeks ago, and now I have about 20 little larvae in jugs on my counter. They need fresh leaves to eat every day and I couldn't leave them at school, so yes, I'm babysitting silkworms over spring break. They're supposed to be spinning cacoons and turning into moths... but I think they're stunted. They hatched over a 3-day weekend and were supposed to eat immediately, but I was a little late and they've been behind their growth schedule ever since. Weird... I'm growing silkworms... and I kinda think it's cool.
Donny and Marie are growing. Everyone needs to meet them - they're the most awesome cats ever.
I hear Michael Jackson lives down here now. They said on the news he wants to build a 50 foot Jacko Robot to roam the Vegas desert to promote his new show. That will be awesome. I have never stalked a robot before.
