A Fulfilling Day
It has been a good day today. I stained specimen grids (necessary for the cells thereupon to be visible under the electron microscope), documented 35 cells on those grids, made TEM films (on which more specimen grids will be set up), and transferred my cultures. I got backup strains for two of those, courtesy of my advisor. I signed up for a conference in early May, and I started making arrangements to go to my brother's wedding in March. I made coffee, and am still feeling perky therefrom. Then I went out for dinner and drinks with labmates and friends.
