I was tempted by Primus and Metroplex at Toys'R'Us. I saw there's a new series of Bionicles out (and non-round canisters!). They also re-stocked the masked version of Legends Icons Wolverine, and still had unmasked Wolverine and Captain America. Then there were the 2.5" Sigma 6 figures and vehicles and 8" Duke on an ATV. But I passed on everything. I figure they'll all still be there in a few weeks anyway.

I went to Michael's craft store to see if they had anything in the way of boards or die cutting tools (since I saw some die cutting tools for crafters online), but didn't really find anything. They had some foamcore, which wasn't what I was looking for. And they had a machine that you could program to cut patterns out of materials, but not quite what I was looking for. And nothing for lining up paper for gluing on boards. You'd think this would be a simple thing to do, but I guess there just isn't the market for it. Nothing we can do about it for Cobras.

Now I want to visit some game stores to see if I can't find some obscure Rio Grande games (TransAmerica, Rocochet Robots, Puerto Rico, etc). I really need to get TransAmerica to play with my folks. Plus, I've toying with an idea for a game that would use some of the same parts.

After I hit the game stores, it's up to Corvallis to stay with Flannel for a couple days. I'm sure by tonight I'll be jonesin' for some CoD:UO, but I'm only bringing my laptop and not my beast. Not that I couldn't still play CoD:UO on my lappy, I'd just rather force myself to work on other things.
