Ok I survived the first test.....

Not so sure that I'll live through the next one, but I'm alive. (I hurt all over and my muscles are still fatigued two days later, but I'm alive.) It was interesting to say the least. we tested for more than two hours. It was way different that the kids tests. I have the bruises to prove it. I did it though, I'm a yellow belt. I just hope that I survive the next one. We did more than a hundred pushups, and then went into our forms while my arms were still numb. I made it though, and I think my son still looks up to me. I need to start training outside of the classes. the next test will be tougher and I'll need to be in far better shape to survive it.

On the writing front, I haven't written over the weekend, but I have been doing research so my story will be more believable. I hope to start writing again tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it.

Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K (my place of employment). Over the weekend and conveniently during my test, they had some issues with the database, which after the fact I can not explain. Either someone is screwing around, or we have gremlins in the office, I haven't figured out which it is. I suspect that someone caused the issue to make me look bad. It is starting to occur more often when he is here all by himself. I'll be monitoring it in the future.

Everything else has been going along fine, and I'm looking forward to my mini vacation this weekend, and the longer one a week after that. It will be nice to not worry about work and enjoy myself, and write.

vacation, karate, work, writing
