As much as I love Google
I still prefer Firefox to Google Chrome. =)

I cleaned out the laptop today - deleted all the extra stuff that was cluttering my desktop, (finally!) backed up all my DWF stuff, cleaned out the registry, uninstalled a few things I haven't been using lately (Quicktime is gone!! Hooray!!), and I'm just finishing up a defrag now. The poor thing should definitely run a bit faster now.
I also updated my Google Calendar with all of my classes for next semester (I still need to add another business class, so I guess I'll have to keep an eye on when drop/add opens up again) and my current work schedule. I'm getting ready to get rid of AIM in favor of digsby, which hopefully is a little cleaner... AIM is just getting clunky and unnecessary.
Out in the real world, we've also been doing a bit of pre-summer sprucing; we've moved the DIY couch my mom and I refurbished out to the deck under the canopy. That's going to be a really pretty space; it's a yellow-tan canopy, we found a brass chandelier to hang in it, and once we get a rug and another chair in there it's going to be great for hanging out in. (I'm also in favor of tiki torches, but that may be the college student in me talking!) There was a little white couch in my mom's office that we replaced the DIY couch with, and then we moved my bed up from the basement into her office. This necessitated by my work hours, of course; there will be nights when I'm going to want(/need) to go to bed at 9:30, which is an impossibility with my family while I continue to live in the basement. This is really a much better idea.
