So this weekend is the New York ComicCon and i went today to scope it out and see if I could play some of the games before the massive crowds swamped the place tomorrow. well putting my paranioa aside for a moment (I had go digging through your posts to find out who you are immediately. The comment about going to VA should've tipped me off, but then there was the sandy vag. line...and now of course i can hear you sayingthat but i can't hear anonymous voices reading so lets just say i made an accurate assumption about the length of your hair. Thank god for the guitar hero buisness) putting aside all of that, you're officially the fourth person to reply to make a ocmment, which makes you the 5th confirmed reader (not including myself). 2 to 3 of them have stopped or only dropped by for a short glance.
so you're right i have no idea how many people are out there who could possibly surf by and stop in, but I don't really count it unless they leave a comment. I used to get these friend requests from random people and I thought cool, i'm getting noticed. but now all those people have had their accounts deleted so I think they all must've just made bots that searched for keywords and then friended those with them. that situation left me feeling like a cheap unwashed handkercheif so now i only count viewers who engage and only friend people who i know or who have engaged. Not an engaging process, nor do i engorge profiles to increase the number of friends, but i don't get enraged by low reader numbers. do you know how easy it is ramp those up? zefrank has a whole show dedicated to how easy it is to make your view numbers balloon. i figure its best to assume their as low as possible until proven otherwise.
oh and please feel free to browse my archives and leave a comment. I don't have home internet access right now, so my whole revision project is waiting until i figure that out (a cheap excuse but hey - its an excuse)
