Hello! Hello! Hello!
Goodness, gracious, golly gee! It has been exactly a year since I last posted. I've thought of posting many times, but I find that my life does not feel all that entertaining. Tonight I couldn't resist the anniversary of my last post. Perhaps my posting will be like my mopping, an annual event...
Work has been, well work-y. Tomorrow is our agency's 2nd annual 5K and Darby and I are running in it. We did pretty well last year, but took a handful of walking breaks. I'm hoping that we can go the whole race without any walking. Don't know if I can do it, but we'll give it our best shot. Weather may be an issue, it's supposed to rain and I'm not a running in the rain kind of girl. Darby's been an awesome coach and I'm really enjoying our training. Of course by enjoying I mean gasping for breath, thinking I'm going to die, and wondering how I'll ever by able do a 5K. Doesn't that sound fun? Of course it does! Darby keeps me entertained as we jog along, in between telling me to breathe and relax. My job is merely to pant and grunt so he knows I'm still alive.
I'm participating in two different books clubs, both are a ton of fun. For one I'm reading Fifty Shades of Grey, for the other it's Ayn's Rand The Fountainhead. They're both really far apart, and yet sort of not. It's an odd combination.
Even though I may not say hi too often, I'm still reading you guys and keeping up with everyone. I miss our conversations, hopefully I'll figure out how to do this more often!
