I don't understand when people make a post to a community and include somewhere that if the post isn't appropriate, the mods are welcome to take it down. Really? You are giving the moderator of a community permission to remove a post in her community? How kind of you. Sometimes it is phrased to read that the OP will remove it himself. This is marginally better, but it is still suggesting that it's OK for the mod to want the post removed. Just read the rules first. It's not that difficult.
Also, stop posting "go easy on me" or "I know I'm ugly, you don't have to tell me" when posting pictures. It's just silly. The intent is to avoid being told negative information about one's physical appearance, and it stems from having low self confidence. It's like when you ask if you look fat in a certain pair of jeans. You don't actually want to know whether or not they make you look fat. You want to be told that they don't. In the same way, you aren't asking people to avoid commenting negatively. You are fishing for positive comments. If you just post the damned picture, you'll get positive comments. Everyone always does. Fishing for comments just lets everyone know that you have no self esteem.
And if it somehow does work, and you never get any negative comments when you post pictures, all it's going to do is give you a false sense of security, which will be ripped to shreds like a hymen after the homecoming dance, when someone in the real world says the slightest thing. Better to grow a spine and learn how to handle social interaction.
And please, go easy on me if you respond.
