Wow. I just found an lj user who had an entire list of instructions and stipulations that went on for two screens for adding her as a friend. One of them, of course, was to ask for permission. Ask? That's what friends-only posts are for, honey. The part that got me the most was her implication that anyone who doesn't follow her little list of rules needs to grow up.
Then again, 9 times out of 10 that I've heard that phrase was from someone who needed to follow her own advice.
