i have decided that i need to break the habit of posting only every six months or so when i have decided i am making a Major Change in my Life.
journal? bah. i have let this "graemealexander" become a mere biannual record of overenthusiastic self-help resolutions. but no more, gentle reader, no more. time for updates of the regular fashion.
tonight, for example, i am getting drunk on wine, dressing in my best Victorian attire, and reading selections of Poe to Caroline. i think i may start with The Cask of Amontillado. Or perhaps Pit and Pendulum.
also, keeping with the spirit of the holiday, we will be listening to plenty o' mussorsky. and the tocatta and fugue in d-minor, as it is the classic.
