Thoughts...
I decided (rather suddenly for me) to move Karl into my place yesterday. He seemed more than fairly surprised I would even ask him to do it and then continued to check with me to make sure I wasn't just playing a practical joke on him. Imagine that, me joking about*smirks*
So he spent a good portion of yesterday banging about in his room. I rather expected him to take on the larger of the two rooms, but his choice is still bigger than a half of a dorm room. It didnt take him long to mess it up in any case.
I looked into the series of filing boxes I had situated in the third extra room, the ones needing input and cataloging. Even with Karl's assistance, this is a task that will take months at best. I've decided for certain to set up the additional office for Karl to use. It will house shelves for his growing library, a table workspace and computer desk. I'll get another computer so he can input my work while I continue to use my own for other work. That will alleviate some hassles and perhaps he can get his homework done much more easily that way as well.
I think I'll make an afternoon of shopping and moving things about...
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. I no longer live alone so talking to self will be noticeable--cut it out
2. When grocery shopping--get frozen stuff last if you intend to read all the labels
3. Computer geeks will try to rob you blind given half the chance--good thing they're easy to read
4. Karl kicks in his sleep. if he's in bed with you and kicks, dont kill him out of instinct
