a sigh of relief
Well this morning was my second bout with the GREs, which ended up increasing my verbal score (which needed it) a whopping 100 points. I'm pleased.
Now I just need to write the other 2/3 of my statement, put a cv together (a bit ridiculous for admittance to an MA program, but whatever) and get my letters back. At this point, I'm only nervous about the letters. But I tend to be that way about things that I can't control.
At any rate, I'm feeling good about the prospect of re-entering academia at present.
