Reid watched the blonde and then leaned heavily against the door. “He has got to stop touching me,” he muttered to himself.
I love that Luke is just so drawn to Reid and has to touch him whenever he's around. It's like Luke is magnetically drawn to Reid! I don't even think he's aware of his actions. Touching Reid is just as natural as breathing air for him.

“You’re in pain,” he replied.
Reid tried to shake his head, but it made him feel worse. “I’m fine, Mr. Snyder. He didn’t hurt me-”
“That’s not what I meant,” Luke replied, picking up the remnants of his work. He couldn’t quite meet Reid’s gaze.
This just about broke my heart. Reid is trying to keep Luke at arms length, but it's not working. With each moment together, Luke is slowly becoming a part of him, whether Reid realizes it or not.

She saw Reid every day, and she knew when he’d just left Luke. He’d have this dazed look on his face. He’d sputter about some argument, still a little shell-shocked. Katie had the feeling the shock was Reid stumbling ass-backwards into love, but she wasn’t about to voice that opinion. And Luke… Well, she still wasn’t sure how she was going to help Luke realize what he was feeling.
Reid knows what he feels for Luke and I think Luke knows what he feels for Reid but is scared to admit it to himself. I think he's know for a while that he's gay but never had a reason to confront his feelings and what it means until he saw Reid.
*****
Luke automatically opened his arms and Katie came forward. He pulled her close, holding her, and gently running his hand down her back. Reid watched every moment, and felt a burning pain in his chest with each brush of Luke’s hand across Katie’s back. He blamed the pastrami sandwich he had for lunch.
This made me giggle. Reid so invested in this thing between him and Luke. Can't wait until they get alone in Dallas and Luke finally get that clue you're hinted at...I have a feeling it'll knock him ass-backwards in love too!

And I love that you're enjoying this story so much. I wanted to do your prompt justice.
I agree completely with what you said about Luke touching Reid, I don't think he gets it at all, but alas, it's there.
As much as this is about Luke realizing what and who he wants it's about Reid learning the same as welll.
Regarding Luke being gay and not addressing it, we will touch on that later on.
Reid is completely gone over Luke and very jealous of Katie, yes. And chapter 6 is all about Dallas and pretty much just the two of them.
Thank you. ~Ali
