“I don’t know what we are any more,” Luke admitted. He felt sad and yet a little relieved to actually admit it, too. He felt like he had been living in limbo. He was “Noah’s boyfriend,” but Luke didn’t know what that meant anymore. And he wasn’t sure if the label fit either" -LOVE that Luke could be this honest. Noah being upset(again) by this admission irritates me. He is always looking for reassurances from Luke but never gives any in return. He never seems willing to understand Luke's feelings. He doesn't even tell Luke that he loves him still, which would do so much to help their relationship. It's no wonder Luke is open to the honesty he gets from Reid.
"I think you feel a lot. I think you feel so much, but you don't show us. You keep this wall up" -I love that Luke gets Reid, sees how much Reid really does feel. Love the connection between them that neither can resist.
"He couldn’t give up the possibility of a chance or a future with Luke." WOOHOO this made me so happy!! and that he hates betraying Luke's confidence. Oh the pain to come when Luke realizes who/what Reid is.
Oh Sam is catching onto Reid. So worried for Reid.

I'm flattered by you quoting me, that some of this sections really stood out for you.
Reid and Luke have a definite connection, but they have to figure out where to go and what to do with it. And yes, Reid so wants a future with Luke but I don't know how he's going to accomplish that.
Sam is figuring out what is going on with Reid, but Sam also cares about Reid. This is complicated all around.
