Noah showing up to the farm. Well that was a shock. So much for keeping up appearances. Ugh!!! I'm glad that Luke told Noah how he was feeling. It needed to be said. Luke can only keep things inside for so long. And Luke is right. Their relationship shouldn't be so much work. And, to me at least, that Luke is doing all the work in said relationship. Noah does what he does, and Luke supports him, even though it hurts him in the long run. And I latched onto the word loved because it seems like Luke might be letting go of Noah and of what they had/have. Maybe he's starting to put himself first. People don't usually use past tense when talking about someone that they love. I hope that made sense. And I always love the Luke/Reid talk. And Luke was so spot on with Reid. I think Reid was shocked that Luke knew the kind of person Reid is since they never talk about Reid. Loving how Luke's words during their appt. affected Reid to change how he teaches his class. Snarky but showing a little caring Professor Reid. :) Reid noticing that Luke doesn't pay attention to Noah anymore. Awesome. And oh Reid. Sam is going to catch on that you have feelings for Luke, and I hope everything turns out ok. I'm sure it will, but that little pessimist side of me sometimes creeps up. lol. I think Reid wants to get Noah and Ameera for lying, but a part of him doesn't because of Luke. And the consequences that face Luke when things come out in the open. When he'll do it? I think something or someone (maybe Sam) forces his hand to finish up the case. Sam is already worried that this has gone on longer than it should've. So, I think he'll tell Reid that he has a certain amount of time to finish or he'll be replaced. Or something like that.

I think that Noah is paranoid about keeping up appearances, but after what happened the day before, I think he was scared about Luke and had to see him. Yes, there was a reason why I used loved, but Luke has some interesting role models. Noah is his first love and I think he's going to fight for that.

Reid is definitely affected by Luke. And I think he likes to believe he's got this great wall around himself, but Luke sees right through him.

Sam cares about Reid no matter what, but they all have a job to do. I think Luke really does influence how Reid handles this case.

Thanks for sharing your ideas and insights. And as far as your pessimistic concerns, I don't think I couldn't write a happy ending for Luke and Reid. ~Ali
