Though I haven't moved yet, I'm thinking about getting a cat. I'm not sure I'm responsible enough, and I may be gone too much, and I'm not sure if it'd be good for it to be home alone all day while I'm at school.
That being said, I've been looking at human society adoption pages, seeing all the little kittens just waiting to be adopted, begging for a better name than "Misty" and "Shadow." Any cat would be happy to live in my home and be called "Chairman Mao" or Mr. Kittyhead. Or, in the case of female cats, Chairperson Mao, and Ms. Kittyhead.
