December 15th
Hmm... I know this country could technically never be considered the coldest of places, but it has been getting a bit frosty as of late. Not really surprising, I guess, as it's almost the Winter Solstice. That said, as is always the case during the solstices and equinoxes, things are getting overly busy again because of it. No one should worry, though. I've made sure to order extra of everything I expect the shop to sell for the season, unlike last time. We shouldn't run out again.
That said, I think the household as a whole is overdue for a break once the solstice passes. So I'll be bringing in a few extra helpers to take everyone's places. Of course, I can already hear a few putting up a fuss over it as if I'm getting rid of them because of it, but I think we all just need to go and relax somewhere for a bit. I don't care how much they whine this time. They badger me to go on breaks as it is, and it's not just Dax doing it. So if I'm going to go, then I'm not going alone.
[OOC: Dax is a honey badger that acts as Jackal's head of security. So in other words, he was trying to make a joke. Not a very good one, but Jackal's not exactly a talented joker. >>; Anyhow, Akaya, you are welcome to say if you want to stay there or with someone or go somewhere random to travel with Jackal and family.
Also, others are welcome to show an interest in tagging along too. It's not like Jackal's going to refuse guests on a sailing trip. As for where he's going? Hell if I know. Suggestions are welcome. >>;]
