I'm putting this here mostly as a quick update for those who it concerns, and I think most of them should know who they are by now. After a lot of time and effort and distressingly rude and inconsiderate conversations, I was finally able to buy Kirihara Akaya from his arena keepers after the fight on Saturday. I imagine there's plenty of opinions and rumors going around right now, and I of course have my own thoughts over why their sudden change of heart after numerous attempts, but I'm really not in any mood to talk about what did or didn't happen at the awful excuse for event. I will say, however, that Akaya is...managing decently right now, and I'm sure he'll appreciate any well wishes. And for anyone still wondering, count this as his official retirement as a fighter.
...And no, unfortunately I can't say I know where his opponent, Hiroshi-san, currently is. Him and his own keepers seemed nowhere in sight at all. Somehow I get the feeling that the one keeper that I spoke to of Akaya's knew something about that though.

...God, they left him in an-- ....No. Not even just calling if "awful" seems to suit just exactly how they left him once they finally accepted our money and let us have him. He's got so many injuries. And so many of them are piled upon old ones that I know he's had for longer than I wish to think about. My family's personal medic, with some very greatly appreciated help from Shouta-kun, were able to patch up a lot of it and stop the lingering bleeding, but it's going to take a good long while for him to heal from all of this. ...And that's only the physical scars I'm taking into consideration.
I know it's wrong of me to think this way, and I said before I don't condone at all their taking of lives, but it's because of what happened to Akaya and what happened in that arena, and what most likely happened to Hiroshi-san as well wherever he may be, that continues to make me believe that Aquila might have the right idea in some ways. Because this shouldn't be happening.
[OOC: Strikes deleted. Akaya and Chinen themselves will eventually explain it more in detail when they're in well enough states to do so, but for the time being, people should know that their arena fight was a "catastrophe" by hyped fight standards. They mostly gawked at each other before getting a bit confused over each other's intentions and causing a few flesh wounds as a result until Chinen socked Akaya unconscious to technically win the anticlimactic match and get them out of the arena pit. What happened to them after that would only be speculation until they themselves say otherwise, but the end results for Akaya at least is that he was pretty much beaten to a bloody pulp and barely breathing when he was handed over. There might be rumors from the underground out there of one of Chinen's keepers turning up very badly mauled and comatose though.]
