Here's the deal
I want to knit.
I WANT to.
The urge is there, the desire is there, the yarn is there...the ability is NOT there.
All I want is to make a Jayne hat. It's even supposed to be badly knitted.
I crocheted a scarf for my mommy. I apparently have the ability to watch a crochet video and then just pick it up.
Why can't I do that with the knitting videos? I mean, I didn't figure out what DPN's were till yesterday while reading "Knitting For Dummies". It's double pointed needle, right?
All I want is a Jayne hat. Please someone, help me fuel my Firefly obsession.
Now I'm off to watch the videos again and watch Doctor Who.
ETA: Apparently, setting it aside for a few weeks let my brain regroup, because I just did the cast on FLAWLESSLY. Now I'm going to try the next step.
