NO CHEATING.

How am I feeling today?
"How Can I Call this Home?" ( from Parade) - Seeing as I am so thoroughly over camp right now, this fits pretty well.

Will I get far in life?
"Don't Wanna Miss A Thing", Aerosmith - Wow, that could not have been summed up more adequately.  I never want to miss out on opportunities presented to me, and even though some turn out to be amazing and some turn out to hurt like hell, I will take risks my whole life so that I won't miss anything.

How do my friends see me?
"All that Jazz" (from Chicago) - I suppose that my friends see me as a jazzy, upbeat showtune!

Where will I get Married?
"The Very Thought of You", David Brubeck - What a beautiful song.  Definately at least a song to be played at my wedding, I'm not sure if it means anything in any real terms right now though.

What is my best friend's theme song?
"I Promise You A Happy Ending" (from Mack & Mabel) - Perfect (and I swear I did not cheat!).  Its funny because just yesterday Jake and I were standing around waiting for Andrew and someone was playing "Time Heals Everything" from M&M and he was telling me that his voice teacher ended up making him sing that for juries and that was when Andrew was graduating and it was sad and all that jazz.  And we were talking about that show and I said I'd seen it with Andrew.  Ironic.  But this song is just perfect because when all is said and done, whether its tomorrow or 50 years from now, I wish nothing more than for him to be as happy as he can ever be.

What is the story of my life?
"I'm Wishing" (Disney) - nothing particularly special about this one, other than the irony of the title.  Don't we all wish?

What is/was highchool like?
"A Love That Will Never Grow Old", Emmylou Harris (Brokeback Mountain) - The fact that I have stayed in touch with and remained close with many of my high school friends suggests that my love for these friends will never be one that I grow out of.

How can I get ahead in life?
"Christ Be Our Light", Christian Hymns - Hmmmm....divine intervention?  Maybe this is suggesting to me that if I go to church I'll get ahead in life.  Haha.  But seriously, I know my faith with get me ahead in life...perhaps not in the material way that the question suggests, but certainly ahead in the things that truly matter.

What is the best thing about me?
"Sleeping", The Beatles - Apparently the best thing about me is my sleeping habits?  Oooooookay.

How is today going to be?
"Don't Go Breaking My Heart", Elton John - Well, either today will not be a day full of heartbreak (as the past few have been) or I will be visited by a flambouyantly dressed gay man wearing oversized sunglasses! :)

What is in store for this weekend?
"The Flesh Failures/Let the Sunshine In" (from Hair) - Ha! Ironic, because I went and saw Hair this past weekend!!!  I don't think its telling me that I will see it again, maybe jus that I'm a day late and a dollar short!

What song describes my parents?
"What I've Been Looking For" (from High School Musical) - Not sure exactly what it means.  Maybe that I look so hard to find who I am else where when I really just need to look at those who raised me.

My grandparents?
"Henry Ford" (from Ragtime) - Is this suggesting that my grandparents are old like the Model T? Or that they like Fords?

How is my life going?
"Waiting All My Life", Rascal Flatts - Fitting.  Don't we all feel like we've been waiting all our lives for something?

What's my dancing song?
"Since You've Been Gone", Kelly Clarkson - Oh, I do like dancing to this one!  When I hear this song when I'm out it does make me want to dance!

Song to sing to?
"What Do I Need With Love?" (from Thoroughly Modern Mille) - Oh, I sing to this one!  But then again, I sing to everything!!!

What song will they play at my funeral?
"Endless Summer", Ashlee Simpson - I guess that describes my life, endless summer.  Let's try another one just for fun.
"Being Alive" (from Company) - great lyrics, great message.  That is truly fitting.
